GRAVIFI

Guide

Try GraviFi on devnet

From a wallet to your first basket in about five minutes. Test money, real prices, no SOL needed. Steps tick themselves off as you go.

  1. 01

    Get a Solana wallet

Any Solana wallet works: Phantom, Solflare or Backpack, as a browser extension on a computer or as the app on your phone. If you already have one, use it: nothing on mainnet is touched, and you never send it funds. You only sign.

On a phone, open app.gravifi.xyz from the browser inside your wallet app (in Phantom, the globe tab), not from Safari or Chrome.

  2. 02

    Switch the wallet to devnet

Devnet is Solana's public test network: the same programs and the same wallets, with tokens that have no value. GraviFi runs there, so your wallet should look there too, or it won't show your test tokens.

    • Phantom: Settings → Developer Settings → turn on Testnet Mode → choose Solana Devnet.
    • Solflare: Settings → Network → Devnet.
    • Backpack: Settings → Solana → network → Devnet.

Menu names move a little between wallet versions. If you skip this step, trading still works, but your wallet shows a zero balance and may warn about transactions, because it is checking them against mainnet.

  3. 03

    Connect and sign in

Press Connect wallet at the top right, pick your wallet and approve. Then sign one message to create your testnet account. Signing a message is free: it is not a transaction and it moves nothing.

  4. 04

Claim test USDC from the faucet

A faucet hands out free test tokens. Ours gives every wallet 10,000 test USDC, once every 24 hours, in a few seconds. That's all you need.

You don't need devnet SOL. Every transaction on Solana pays a small fee in SOL, and on this testnet GraviFi pays all of them for you, including the cost of opening token accounts in your wallet.

  5. 05

    Buy your first basket

Open any basket from Explore, look at what's inside, type an amount and press Buy. The app shows every cost before you sign. One signature swaps your USDC into each token and mints your basket shares; if any step would miss its price limit, nothing happens and you keep your USDC.

Your shares appear in Wallet, valued live. Later you can sell them back for USDC, or redeem them for your slice of the underlying tokens, which land in your wallet.

  6. 06

Create a basket of your own

In Create, give it a name and a ticker (3 to 8 letters), pick 2 to 8 assets and set weights that add up to 100%. Choose how it rebalances, who can buy it and who runs it: you, or nobody ever again. Then seed it with at least $100 of test USDC and launch it with one signature.

Your basket gets its own token and its own page, and anyone can buy it straight away.

Is any of this real money?

No. Every token on the testnet is a stand-in with no value. Prices follow the real assets, so baskets move like the market, but nothing you hold here can be withdrawn to mainnet.

Do I need devnet SOL from a faucet?

Not for GraviFi: it pays your network fees. Other devnet apps may need some; you can get it at faucet.solana.com, which sometimes asks you to sign in with GitHub.

My wallet shows $0.

Wallets price tokens on mainnet, and test tokens have no mainnet price. Switch the wallet to devnet (step 2) to see them; your basket values live in the app under Wallet.

Something failed.

Press Report a problem at the bottom right and say what you tried. Failed transactions are logged automatically.
